Pastor Diane's report highlights the various activities, and in that regard, we are thankful for her leadership and shepherding, and the support of members of our congregation.  One of the routine but very important tasks is the weekly bulletin, which we often take for granted, and we would like to thank Katia for faithfully attending to this till this year, and welcome and thank Cecilia for taking this on.

An important development this year was the visioning exercise, where we sought to move beyond the activities ( important nonetheless ) and to ask ourselves where God is leading us. As stated in the compulsory reading for this exercise, its about how we transform our journeys into pilgrimages, where there is a holy purpose in our daily living.  

The English Congregation has been blessed to be a part of wider community of Good Shepherd, enjoying the support and fellowship of the Chinese Cogregation and Rector Rev Lily Chang.  Whilst we can expect 2009 to be be economically difficult, with less expatriate staff locating toTaiwan, and will have challenges in terms of growing the congregation, and also with tithing, let us be faithful even as God has been faithful.

牧愛堂英文堂---２００8

王牧師的報告列出英文堂去年的各項重點活動，我們很感激她這一年對我們的領導和看管，也很感激教友們的支持。我們特别要謝謝 Katia 每週無休為我們準備週報，並且歡迎也感謝Cecilia接任這個經常性，但卻非常重要的任務。 

今年其中一個重要的發展，是建立本堂共同目標及異象。由會眾們在各項活動之外，尋求上帝在其中的旨意及方向， 讓我們能在每日生活中達到一個聖潔目的。 

英文堂的会眾感謝中文堂和張牧師的友誼和支持，讓我們在教堂裡享受到更寬的社區。 

2009年經濟困難，會有較少外籍人士來到台灣工作。英文堂將面臨會眾人數成長和奉獻的挑戰，然而，我們更要對上帝忠實，因為上帝對我們是信實的。
